• Greetings from Willersley

  It’s 6:45am and not a creature is stirring, not even a child! 
  Wake up calls begin at 7am to get packed and ready for breakfast at 8am then rooms cleared by 9am before the final few activities of the day. 
   

  We are expecting to leave Willersley around 1:30pm and are anticipating to be back at school for the end of the school day. We will give a more accurate arrival time once on our way.

• Come on England!

  After a fantastic disco, some very tired children have gone to bed and sone have stayed up to watch the the 2nd half of the England game. It’s very exciting, especially when England scored. I think the teachers will have ringing in their ears for a while after the cheers and celebrations!

• Sledging, tea and disco time!

  A busy afternoon with lots of activities for the groups. 
  Everyone has enjoyed a superb roast dinner and are now getting their dancing shoes ready for the disco! Mr Headon-Moores’s white crocs might even make an appearance!

  Kayaking and Canoeing are in full swing this morning. We are managing to stay dry - for now! 🚣🏽‍♂️☀️

  Everyone has had breakfast and are now in their groups for the day. 
  Mr Cooper is ready for kayaking and a wild dip in the River Derwent!

  Everyone’s awake (some at 5:15am!) and getting kit ready for the days activities before heading down for a full English breakfast to fill us up with energy!

  The children had a great night walk around part of the Castle grounds and the local area. 
   

  It’s now 10:44pm and everyone is fast asleep ready for an action packed day ahead on Tuesday.

  We have all had our tea, yummy fish fingers or bolognese and then Oreo donuts! 
   

  We are getting ready for a night walk around the grounds. Mr Headon-Moores has his glow in the dark crocs ready! 😃
