Out of School Club
Puss Bank School & Nursery’s Out of School Club offers parents and carers the opportunity to book ‘out of hours’ childcare for their children.
The Out of School Club (Breakfast and Afterschool) operates within its own building at Puss Bank School & Nursery, Macclesfield, Cheshire which it shares with the Nursery.
Opening Times
Out of School Club is open Monday to Friday inclusive. Term time only.
Breakfast Club
7.30am to 8.45am
Afterschool Club
From end of school day to 5.45pm
Booking
New Starters
A completed registration form is required to book a place in the club. The registration form can be found at the bottom of this page, or alternatively, you can ask at the school office.
How to Book
Bookings should be made online via School Gateway. This can be done either via the School Gateway website, or by downloading the app. Please ensure all bookings are made at least a week in advance, if possible, and no later than 48hrs prior to the date of booking.

Emergencies
If you need to book a place due to an emergency, please call the School Office to check there is space available. You must have credit in you account to make a booking.
Staffing
The number of places are limited and the staffing levels are fixed accordingly.
Fees
From 1st September 2023 will be as follows:
Breakfast Club - £6.30 per session (siblings - £5.75)
After School Club - £11.80 per session (siblings - £10.70)
A fee of £5.00 will be charged for every 5 minutes after pick up time unless there are exceptional circumstances.
Methods of Payment
Payment is made in advance and should be made via School Gateway at the point of booking your sessions. Please either download the App or log-in via the School Gateway website. Alternatively, payment can be made using Child Care Vouchers or Tax Free Vouchers. When signing in please enter the e-mail/mobile your provided to the school. Snacks and refreshments are included in the fees.
If you have sent a payment to the school via your Childcare Voucher account for wrap around care, please email finance@pussbank.cheshire.sch.uk to advise where this money should be allocated.
Refunds
Please be aware that, under the HMRC rules, any overpayments of childcare vouchers cannot be refunded directly to parents/carers due to the tax benefits received on purchase.
It is the responsibility of parents/carers to ensure that their account is not in excessive credit and any payments are used, as we are unable to process refunds for credit balances for both current children and leavers.
If the child/children leaving us has a sibling remaining in the school, any credit will be transferred to their account.
