Year 1 and 2 Team.

It would be fantastic if you could continue to read regularly with your child and write a brief comment in their organiser.

This half term we will start our English work looking at the Three Billy Goats Gruff.  This will involve acting out parts, drawing a story map and then writing our own adapted version. 

In Art we are studying the work of Andy Goldsworthy who creates fantastic natural sculptures out of sticks, stones, ice, leaves and other things you can find in the countryside.  We will use his designs as inspiration for our own ideas. 

In History we will be studying the how has transport has changed and developed over time with a fosus on Macclesfield.  In computing we will be learnig how to log on and use the Purple Mash software.  In RE we are looking at Jesus and the Parables and in science we will be learning about our 5 senses.
